The happiest people are those whose happiness is derived from sharing their happiness with others. This includes our customers. We can manipulate, using coy, sly sales techniques, we can mislead with advertising, we can tell ourselves that we needn’t worry about losing business because people are re-populating faster than we can serve them. Tell that to Macy;s or Penny’s or Wal-Mart. these are three good companies whose traditions are serving their customers well. We are now in difficult times. Which Path does one take?
